Memories

I wish I could bottle moments.
I wish I could lock them away.
I wish I could put them in bottles,
And re-experience them another day.

I wish to capitalize on moments,
I wish to make the most of now,
And constantly being able to re-return,
Is the way that I've figured out how.

Every moment would be satisfying,
If, just in case,
I had a bottle of a memory,
That I could revisit then replace.

No pain would be unbearable,
For I could slip back to the past,
To experience a time,
That Time didn't allow to last.

A way to return to the moment,
To truly exist right then!
I wish I could bottle moments,
I wish I could feel them again.

But moments are made beautiful,
By how they slip away.
For there is beauty in uniqueness,
There is beauty in "Today."

For I plan to fill my life,
Not with bottles, but with time.
With moments more than perfect,
That cannot be captured in a...
